Cat Positive is a Bellingham, Washington emo-punk band blending the heart-on-sleeve songwriting of The Weakerthans, Jimmy Eat World and The Get Up Kids with the rootsy storytelling of modern artists like MJ Lenderman and Waxahatchee. Their latest album, Electric City Boxing Club, was released in June 2025 and supported by a West Coast tour.
Released in June 2025, Electric City Boxing Club explores memory, grief, friendship, and growing up in Montana's punk scene. The album combines nostalgic storytelling with driving guitars and reflects on community, resilience, and the people who shape our lives.
